I want to photograph mount kirkjufell when its covered in snow, and also the stars on a clear night, do you know what time of year would be the best to achieve this.
Hi Neil. Thanks for your comment. You should have snow between November and February. However for the clear sky I really cannot predict. All year long the weather changes quickly. Sometimes the sky was clear at 9pm but when I went outside 2 hours later hoping for northern lights it was completely covered in clouds. It is a question of luck and being ready to stay awake most of the time hoping for the weather to change 🙂
I didn’t get my email after I placed my e book
Dear Niwat
I have sent you an email with the download link.
I checked and it is because you made an error typing your email address during the purchase.
Happy travels!

Hi! I absolutely LOVE the way you put these trips together with the very specific recommendations and links to book trains! Amazing! I am looking to do 14 days in Europe with Rome, Florience, Venice and the Amalfi Coast. How would you recommend building this type of itinerary for those locations?
Hi Lynn
I am glad you are enjoying it.
I am sorry, I don’t do personalized itineraries.
However my recommendation is to absolutely start with
– where you can arrive on an international flight
– and check all the train possibilities between each destinations to see how they fit the best to avoid loosing time in transportation. Here you might have to go through
Rome and extra time, to make a connection.
And then make a quick list of what you hope to see in each place to see how best to cut the number of days.
And you play with the puzzle pieces 🙂
Have a great trip!
