I have lived more than 3 years in Australia and went back for another 3 months. Sadly I can’t pay justice to all the amazing places I visited there, as I started paying attention to my photography only a few months before leaving. Anyway, here are my 10 best photos from down under.
1. SUNSET AT ULURU
Why I love this photo
The intensity of the red and the position of the position of the clouds.
The location behind
Uluru is a famous monolith in the red centre of Australia. An incredible huge rocks sticking out of the surrounding flat red desert.

2. JENOLAN CAVES
Why I love this photo
The details in the shapes and the different textures. I just want to get closer and touch it.

The Jenolan caves are located in the Blue mountains just a couple hours west of Sydney

3. CASSOWARY in Queensland
Why I love this photo
It is a cassowary… what is there not to love? Great colors, great shape and great eyebrows!!!
The location behind
This was taken in one of the wildlife park in Queensland near Cairns. I was not lucky to see any in the wild.
4. WALLABY in Featherdale
Why I love this photo
Such a cute wallaby and I love how it is holding the leaves.

The Featherdale wildlife park is a great place in the Sydney suburbs where you can observe up-close some native australian animals

5. SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE
Why I love this photo
Who says Auckland is the city of Sails? There are also many boats in the Sydney Harbour. And with the Opera House in the background, would not love to sail there

Many ferries allow you to get water views of the Opera House.

6. TARONGA ZOO
Why I love this photo
The great timing: those giraffes really have the best view in Sydney

Taronga zoo is just a 20 min ferry ride from the Sydney Opera House. On top of observing many native and wild animals, visitors can enjoy great views of downtown and the Harbour Bridge

7. REMARKABLE ROCKS at Kangaroo Island

Doesn't it look like a pig pace? And it is all natural

Why I love this photo
Because I love dolphins 🙂 It is not a great shot, but I had to pick one
