I know you going to get an overdose of sunsets and sunrises (remember the one in Marrakesh?), but they really fascinate me and I find them very different each time so I really want to share them with you! Look at this one, it really felt like a painting!
In Ouarzazate, we were staying at the very charming hotel Les Jardins de Ouarzazate. Like all hotels, they have a rooftop terrace and I shared it only with one other person doing yoga during sunset.
I was very excited as the clouds were promising:
The street below was getting darker and lights were turned on…
…and it was time for the show
After the sunset, I joined the group for diner and then some of us decided to go out to buy some scarves. However the shop where we wanted to go was closed and we started wandering around. The mood was light and we were still all excited and re-fueled by our time in the desert.
Let me just stop here to give you a precious advice, one of us discovered quite painfully: yes you have to look where you walk as the pavement is not always straights and the steps are sometime very high, but do not forget to watch also in front of you, because those roadsigns are very very low! 🙂

Back to our crazy night out. We entered another shop and the owner told us he also had an herboristerie that he would be happy to show us. So we followed him in a dark side road and he opened the place for us. He introduced as many products as possible, one after the other, this one is good for the back, this one for the skin, this one is as efficient as a psychiatrist…
At the end I was that we all came back to the hotel with our money still in the pocket but with a lot of laughter… This was a really Fun Night in Ouarzazate (could be a great title for a movie, no?).
Now that you know me, you will not be surprised that I woke up early to, again, cimb to the rooftop terrace and admire sunrise. However the clouds were less intersting
In the morning, some of us stayed at the hotel while others went to visit the Movie Studio. I wanted to do the quadbiking but we had to be at least to quads and I was the only one interested… plus my back was still painful from the camel ride… maybe another time
