I arrived in Marrakesh late in the afternoon and decided to rest rather than directly hit the pavement. Therefore my first real discovery of Marrakesh was on the next morning. I climbed up to the roof terrace of my hotel, the Gand Imilchil, and was lucky to discover the Minaret of the Koutoubia surrounded by intense colors. This was the best way to meet Morocco!
