Kyrkan planerades i form av ett kors. Som du kan se st\u00e5r det centrala klocktornet fortfarande kvar, liksom m\u00e5nga av valven. N\u00e4r han dog 1268 l\u00e4t hon balsamera hans hj\u00e4rta och placera det i en s\u00e4rskild kista. Hon kallade den sin &#8221;s\u00f6ta, tysta, f\u00f6ljeslagare&#8221;. Hon begravde sin make vid Sweetheart Abbey. Men milj\u00f6erna, klockstapelns skick och de detaljerade b\u00e5garna gjorde utforskningen intressant.
