Met maar een halve dag heb ik niet veel info en tips om te delen, maar hier zijn de paar die ik verzameld heb. Ik bleef 15 minuten om het uitzicht te bewonderen en besloot toen om terug naar beneden te gaan en van een wandeling langs het water te genieten. de waterkant is erg mooi met veel activiteit. Er zaten mensen op caf\u00e9s, fietsten of rolschaatsten&#8230; een leuke sfeer&#8230; dus ik begrijp waarom Wellington er bekend om staat.<\/p>\n\n<p>Wellington heeft van de Lonely Planet de bijnaam de coolste kleine hoofdstad ter wereld gekregen.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TIPS VOOR REISPLANNERS &#8211; Wellington<\/h3>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reizen naar Wellington<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wellington ligt op het zuidelijke puntje van Noordereiland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Het is 650 km &#8211; 8 uur rijden van Auckland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Op bezoek in Wellington<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bekijk dit geweldige artikel van Young Adventuress over <a href=\"http:\/\/youngadventuress.com\/2014\/02\/wellington-new-zealand-visit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">waarom ze van Wellington <\/a> houdt  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mogelijke activiteit: Cable Car &#8211; De onderste terminal vindt u op Lambton Quay. Ik breng graag tijd door in de natuur. Maar gezien de wereldwijde status besloot ik toch even een kijkje te nemen in het beroemde Te Papa museum.<\/p>\n\n<p>Als u naar de bovenste bloem van het museum gaat, hebt u in een hoek toegang tot een terras. Het is geen erg mooi platform, maar het geeft een goed uitzicht op het centrum van Wellington en de waterkant.<\/p>\n\n<p>Het museum is behoorlijk groot. Als u van musea houdt, kunt u er meerdere dagen doorbrengen als u wilt. De tentoonstellingen vari\u00ebren van historische uitleg tot het tentoonstellen van sieraden en interactieve activiteiten. Omdat het geen winderige dag was, was de overtocht rustig, geen last van reisziekte! Om Picton op het Zuidereiland te bereiken, gingen we door de vredige Marlborough Sounds. Sommigen kletsten, sommigen sliepen, sommigen namen veel foto&#8217;s (zoals ik) en sommigen bewonderden gewoon het uitzicht. Een prachtige middag!<\/p>\n\n<p>Noordereiland en Zuidereiland worden gescheiden door de Straat Cook (genoemd naar James Cook, de eerste Europese commandant die er in 1770 doorheen voer). Het is 22 km op het smalste punt. De enige 2 opties om van de ene naar de andere te komen zijn vliegen en de veerboot.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TIPS VOOR REISPLANNERS &#8211; Overtocht per veerboot naar Zuidereiland<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>De veerboot is de Interislander. Meer informatie vindt u op de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interislander.co.nz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">website van de veerboot<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Het is een reis van 3 uur. Een groot deel ervan is in Malbourough Sounds met ongelooflijke uitzichten &#8211; het eerste half uur en het laatste anderhalf uur moet je niet doorbrengen met naar een boek of een scherm te kijken \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De veerboten hebben veel diensten, zoals een kleine filmzaal, spelletjes voor kinderen, caf\u00e9s en bars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vergeet uw pillen tegen reisziekte niet. Wellington is erg winderig en een rustige rit zoals ik had is erg zeldzaam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zigzag-on-earth.smugmug.com\/Travel\/New-Zealand\/New-Zealand-North\/i-qhjwVs8\/0\/M\/IMG_8685-M.jpg\" alt=\"Arahura: onze veerboot\" title=\"Arahura: onze veerboot\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Laatste uitzicht op Noordereiland vanaf de veerboot<\/h2>\n\n<p>Aan het begin van de tocht varen we een stukje langs de kust van Noordereiland. Hvis du kigger p\u00e5 kortet over Wellington og Straat Cook, vil du forst\u00e5 hvorfor.
